Animal Damage Control was founded 25 years ago by leading Canadian wildlife control expert Bill Abercrombie. Today we are an integrated team including some of the Alberta’s top trappers, field technicians, biologists and animal care specialists, with hundreds of years of combined wildlife field experience.

President
Bill Abercrombie is the founder of Animal Damage Control, vice president of the Alberta Trappers Assocation, and a long-serving board and executive member of the Alberta Conservation Association. He has over 25 years of full-time experience as a wildlife consultant and problem wildlife officer, and has studied and worked with virtually every wildlife species, conflict situation and environment in Western Canada, from the Arctic and alpine to the boreal and great plains.
As a hunter, trapper and conservationist for life, he brings a unique philosophy and skill set to the field of wildlife research, management, and conflict resolution. He trains wildlife and wilderness professionals from across North America and Europe and works with many corporations, governments, universities and organizations alike to promote the sustainable and peaceful coexistence of wildlife and humans across Alberta and beyond.
