What Are Beavers

The beaver, often recognized as a national symbol of Canada, are among the largest living rodents in the world. They have powerful jaws and strong teeth which enable them to chew through trees, most commonly to build dams in which they live. They grow up to 4 feet in length, and can be identified by their flat paddle-like tail, thick fur, and buck teeth.

Common beaver removal requests:

  • Gnawing through trees
  • Building dams which cause flooding to nearby land or roads
  • Destabilizing river banks
  • Subsequent damage to crops

If you detect any early signs of a beaver living on or around your property, you should give Animal Damage Control a call for your beaver removal needs.
